Mr. Lai Tek Kean graduated with a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Political Science from the National University of Malaysia. Upon graduating, he started his career in the insurance and personal finance industry with Great Eastern Life, the oldest and most established life insurance group in Singapore and Malaysia. Hailing from a humble background, Mr. Lai Tek Kean was determined from a very young age to work hard to change his life for the better. With sheer focus and determination, he rose to the rank of Senior Group Sales Manager of Great Eastern Life in a short period of time.
With the experience he amassed within the insurance and personal finance industry, Mr. Lai Tek Kean truly understood the needs of independent distributors in the network marketing industry. He was determined to create a solid and sustainable platform which would maximise the financial rewards for distributors. Through his vision, SuperLife World was born. For his visionary leadership, outstanding achievements and remarkable influence in the direct-selling industry, Mr. Lai Tek Kean was awarded the prestigious Star Role Model Award in 2023.
Datuk Paul Nair brings with him more than a decade of managerial experience in public listed and multinational companies. Having graduated with a Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (Gold Medallist) from the University of Technology, Malaysia, he started his career as a Senior Executive in the Group Strategy and Corporate Finance department of Sime Darby Berhad, a multi-billion dollar listed company in Malaysia. He later relocated to London to pursue his career with a reputable Big 4 Accounting Firm, KPMG LLP in the Corporate Finance Department, based in Canary Wharf London. In KPMG, he was working on major international mergers and acquisitions covering Europe and the US.
Based on his stellar academic performance and working experience, Datuk Paul Nair was offered a place at the prestigious University of Oxford to read MBA, majoring in Strategy and Finance. He graduated with Honours from the University of Oxford and is an esteemed member of the Oxford & Cambridge Alumni.
Datuk Paul Nair strongly believed that his calling was in entrepreneurship, hence in 2017 he relocated back to Malaysia from London, and together with Mr. Lai Tek Kean, founded SuperLife World. Datuk Paul Nair is the Co-Founder and CFO of SuperLife and oversees the strategy, finance and legal functions. In 2019, he was awarded The 100 Most Influential Young Entrepreneurs and received the prestigious award from the then Prime Minister of Malaysia, Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad. In recognition of his outstanding service and contributions to the society and the nation, Datuk Paul Nair was awarded the Darjah Pangkuan Seri Melaka (D.P.S.M.), which carries the honorable title of “Datuk” in 2025.
